CARD CONSPIRACY VOL. 1 EBOOK
AUTHOR: PETER DUFFIE AND ROBIN ROBERTSON PRICE: $19.95 AVAILABLE AT peterduffie.com LINK TO Table of Contents CHAPTER 1: BIDDLE FORCE – forcing method I like "26 FACES NORTH." I'm not too fond of the other two tricks in the chapter. These two tricks build upon the structure of "26 FACES NORTH." CHAPTER 2: CONCEALED ALLERTON CONTROL – a control to 2nd from the top of the deck. "CAC VISITOR" – This is basically Larry Jennings' "The Visitor" with a kick start of having a card from the middle of the deck inexplicably sandwiched by two face up cards at the top of the deck. A fantastic start indeed. ''ONLY JOKING'' – cool transformation "FINAL CONTROL" – a good way to control a card to the bottom of the deck I don't think the color separation effect in the other two tricks is all that convincing. CHAPTER 3: CUT FORCE – forcing method For me, the Cut Force simply doesn't cut it. What's done after the spectator cuts the deck looks odd. CHAPTER 4: DALEY DELIGHT SWITCH – a no-cover switch There is a stunning finish to “REPELLING & ATTRACTING,” a three phase routine featuring transpositions and a multi-sandwhich. I like the other tricks in the chapter. CHAPTER 5: DARYL'S DIMINISHING COUNT – a technique that allows you to easily display the last two cards as one when transferring cards (one at a time) from one hand to the other (it's more of an idea than a technique). For “THE REPLIGATOR,” I found making it appear as if only the top card moved when moving the top and bottom cards at the same time to be difficult. The other three tricks in the chapter are all winners. CHAPTER 6: DIVIDE AND CONJURE – This chapter features a single trick (and some variations). Effect Description – A selection is lost in the deck. Cards are eliminated from the deck until the selection is discovered. Not for me – too many Reverse Faros. Laymen may like the effect. CHAPTER 7: DOUBLE DEAL TURN-OVER – Brief Sleight Description – A card is switched for another as it is turned face up. For “BLACKJACK TRANSPO,” I think it is a bad idea for the card at the face of the packet to be shown before the Double Deal Turn-Over. Many observers may think the card was flipped over from the bottom. Outside of that instruction, I like “BLACKJACK TRANSPO.” I think “S.O.P.” and “COINCIDENCE – WITH A TWIST” are very good. CHAPTER 8: FAKE & UNUSUAL – The tricks in this chapter involve gimmicks and prepared cards. I skipped this chapter because I wasn't interested. CHAPTER 9: GEMINI COUNT – A 4-as-4 count in which two pairs of cards are seen twice. "THE BLABBERMOUTHS" – four red queens transform into black queens I like this trick, but it lacks an ending. Fortunately, I was able to come up with one. "KINGS HIGH" – First, the red Kings rise upwards through the black Kings, then the black Kings rise upwards through the deck. Finally two previously selected cards appear in an unexpected place. I think this trick is quite nifty. CHAPTER 10: GILBREATH PRINCIPLE – The Gilbreath Principle is the fact that when a sequence (which may or may not be a repeating sequence) is riffle shuffled into its reverse, there are certain properties of the mixed outcome that are mathematically guaranteed. "DIRE STRAIGHTS" – a production of a winning poker hand clever trick, fantastic finish "HOURS OF MAGIC" – a true no-clue discovery of a selection a solid, puzzling trick The other three tricks in the chapter did not suit me. CHAPTER 11: GOODWIN/BRUCE (GB) SWITCH – Brief Sleight Description – A card is switched for another as it is turned face up. "GB CENTER COUNTDOWN" – After a card is freely chosen and returned to the pack, a second card is chosen and used simply as a number. The chosen card is found face-up at that number. direct and effective "SIGNATURE PEACE" – Good trick, but the effect can be accomplished with a lot less set up and without the GB Switch. "THE HIGHLY VISIBLE KINGS" and "SEQUENCER" are good tricks, but they follow a basic sequence in which the GB Switch can be replaced with other forces. CHAPTER 12: HUMMER PRINCIPLE – This procedure allows you to isolate desired cards (usually in a packet size of less than half of a deck). Winning poker hands are produced in "HUMMER PLAY POKER" and "REMOTE CONTROL POKER." Both have a strong finish. "REMOTE CONTROL POKER" is my favorite from the chapter. "CATO GETS MARRIED" – The spectator discovers the mate of a selected card using the CATO procedure. pretty good effect I did not like the other tricks in the chapter. Peter and Robin delivered quite a bit of quality material in Card Conspiracy 1. Highly Recommended

I just want to make a suggestion to ebook producers. Please consider making the items in your table of contents link to the corresponding pages and link back to the table of contents somewhere within the entry. To be clear, I'm not talking about people linking to the incorrect pages. I'm talking about people not making any links at all.
This helps cut down on scrolling up and down. I find this useful even for short ebooks. Obviously, things differ from program to program, but I think in most cases it's not hard to do. John's Card Creations Volume 2
by John Gelasi ten card tricks price - $10 available at lybrary.com as a download available at wildcolombini.com as a DVD five of the ten tricks have been previously published SCATTERBRAIN - A selected ace appears in a packet of jokers, and the other three aces "scatter" to various locations (the card case, etc.). Good trick...pretty snappy THE GHOST TALKS - A mentalism-style spirit slate routine, but using playing cards. This is a clever printing effect. You could put your own spin/presentation on it. J.G. MONTE - John's impromptu 3 Card Monte routine I like everything but the two cards turning into one. HOF WITH A TWIST, AGAIN - A card is selected and lost in the deck. The card worker holds the four kings. The king of the same suit as the selection (let's say this is the king of spades) reverses while it is in the packet. Other bewildering things happen with the kings. Then the king of spades transforms into the selection. The king of spades is placed in the spectator's hand. It then transposes with the selection. Good, solid trick ESTIMATION - A four of a kind production proceeded by a quick location of a selection. Good trick, but I like other four of a kind productions better. There is no estimating going on, even though the patter might lead you to believe it is. RE-PRODUCTION + FOURTH FLOOR - An easy and extremely magical way to produce the kings and aces. The two sets of cards are then used for a fun elevator routine full of magical moments, inspired by Nick Trost. Good trick DOT DOT DOT - A card merely "created" by a spectator rises to the top of the deck with no funny moves whatsoever; a real fooler using a brilliant principal. Good use of an unusual forcing method SELFSAME - Inspired by "Dupes" by Cameron Francis; using four cards, the card expert locates the spectator's selection, causes the cards to have backs on both sides, change into jokers, then finally, change into four of a kind. Impressive BIG MISTAKE – The cardician works with only four cards – three jokers and a king. The jokers eventually turn into kings. Before that, several other changes occur. Impressive A.P. ASSEMBLY – Each jack is in a packet of four cards. One packet is designated as the “leader packet.” Three of the jacks inexplicably travel to the “leader packet.” One jack is inserted into the deck. That card travels from the deck to the “leader packet” to the indifferent cards. To me, what's being sold here is the ending. I like it. Highly Recommended John's Card Creations Volume 1
by John Gelasi DVD ten card tricks price - $10 available at lybrary.com five of the ten tricks have been previously published OFF-TEMPO ACES - Four blacks change places with the four aces, all leading up to a kicker ending that nobody will see coming! Very good TOP BILLING - The card pro produces the three mates to a selected card in three unique, spectacular ways. Good trick, but I like other four of a kind productions (of this type) better. DEFECTIVE - A direct and simple transposition effect with a fun, unique presentation. fine presentation, direct method, cool trick NEAR-SIGHTED JACK SANDWHICH - A double sandwich routine using the two one-eyed jacks, but with a little difficulty. Eventually, the other two jacks make a surprise appearance. What this comes down to is two jacks sandwiching four cards – two selections and the other two jacks. This trick is OK. I am not enthusiastic about it. DALEY PLUS 2 - An updated handling of John’s February 2012 Genii magazine effect. Dr. Daley's classic plot with the four kings, two selections, and an incredibly impossible card-in-box ending. Good trick HOLD UP - John's version of the famous "Ambitious Classic"; Ace, 2, 3, and 4 of spades rise to the top of the packet (even visually!). At the end, the ace vanishes and reappears in an impossible location. Good trick THIS MIGHT BE A PROBLEM - A unique and different approach to the Hofzinser Ace Problem with no forcing or peeks of the selection (honest!). Wow...talk about walking off the beaten path without stumbling. John's routine is simply wonderful. Fans of the Hofzinser Ace Problem should check this out. OIL, WATER AND PROM - Three red cards and three black cards are used for a four phase routine full of visual, spectator-engaging magic. Mildly amusing YES, WE CAAN - A super easy yet extremely effective new spin on the "card at any number" plot using an old principle. variation by Cameron Francis included solid trick , I also like Cameron's variation SPACE MOUNTAIN – A bewildering multiphased routine using only four cards - cards transpose, rise, twist, change, and more! Good trick. I think the ending is anti-climatic. John is a smooth card handler. Recommended MOMENT'S NOTICE 8 EBOOK
links to performance and instruction videos are included AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com Coincidence Card – The card expert removes a “Coincidence Card” from the deck and sets it aside. He then asks the spectator to divide the deck in half. The “Coincidence Card” is shown to be a queen (or whatever value). Two queens end up in the same position in each half (at a number chosen by the spectator). The last queen is revealed in the middle of the undealt cards. The methods to produce the three mates of the “Coincidence Card” are very basic. The false cut is very basic. The initial positioning of the principal cards can look fishy. This trick still may bewildered some spectators. No Sweat Assembly – Three Aces are laid in a row on the table. The Ace of Spades, the Leader Ace, is cut into the middle of the deck. A few cards are placed on top of each Ace and the packets are gathered. The combined packet is riffled toward the deck three times. The card wiz turns the packet face up and spreads it across the table. Not an Ace to be seen. The face down deck is spread. The four Aces are discovered reversed in the middle. Pretty good trick...with so many Ace Assemblies out there , I doubt if many people will add this one to their repertoire if they already do a few. Coupling – Two spectators end up with the only two face cards from a packet of 13 cards after an unusual selection process. This trick works by way of a procedural/mathematical force. I think procedural sequences should be brief and connected to randomness. I think the force is done one time too many. Spectators may start thinking about numbers (adding numbers together). Daley’s Last Bullet Party – The cardician displays three Jokers and an Ace of Spades. One of the Jokers is rubbed against the Ace whereupon it turns into the Ace of Clubs. The other two Jokers are rubbed against the Aces and also transform into black Aces. Finally, two of the cards become red Aces, giving the cardician the best four of a kind you can have. Impressive effect Seven – A card between two jacks transposes with a card in the pocket. I like Cameron's idea for the Kosky Switch and the card posing as another. Impressive effect Absorption – The four jacks absorb/vanish three cards, one at a time. This is a good trick if the audience doesn't notice the discrepancy when the deck is cut. I think there is enough good stuff in the book to give it a recommendation. But I definitely think this is the weakest book in the Moment's Notice series. Recommended MOMENT'S NOTICE 7 EBOOK
links to performance and instruction videos are included AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com THE TRUTH IS IN THE MIDDLE – A "mystery card" effect where a card reversed in the middle of the deck before the trick started turns out to be the selection! Some clever thinking is employed here. But I'll pass on this one. When I do a mystery card plot, I like the mystery card to be in view the whole time or be isolated in some sort of container. WELL TRAVELED – Cards travel from pocket to packet, pocket to spectator's hand, and packet to pocket. I think showing the two face-up cards as three cards is pushing it. TRI THE SANDWICH – A Triumph routine and sandwich routine all rolled into one tasty treat! Outstanding – two great penetration effects with a very good deck righting itself effect (triumph plot). OUT OF SIGHT, INSIDE THE BOX – A magical variation of Dai Vernon's "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" I like this. I like the Curtis Kam handling FAUX SHOW – A five phased card cheating demonstration using a small packet of cards that makes you look like a sleight of hand King... but is actually easy to do. Phase 1 – nice surprise ending Phase 2 – I do not like the Out of Place Elmsley Count. It can be worked around. Phase 3 – the amazement continues Phase 4 – the amazement continues Phase 5 – A nice way to wrap things up OH, NO, NOT ANOTHER THING! - Four aces are lost into the deck and then they are quickly produced. "Ace Thang" from Moment's Notice 4 revisited. I like this. I think it is an improvement over “Ace Thang.” The reveal with the jokers in “Ace Thang” looked good, but the jokers served no purpose other than to get an ace to the card box. SLYER CHEESE – A simple transposition of red and black aces and a card reveal. There is also a reversal effect. A new twist on "Sly Cheese" from Moment's Notice 4 This is OK. Basically what you get is the effect of “Dr. Daly's Last Trick” and a card reveal. I like “Sly Cheese” better. Recommended MOMENT'S NOTICE 6 EBOOK
links to performance videos are included AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN – A stunning double sandwich effect pretty good trick OVERCOUNT – A prediction is placed face down under the card case. The three mates of the prediction are located from three piles of cards. This trick reminded me of “Four Way Coincidence” by John Murray. The Murray trick is more direct. This trick is OK, but I would rather do “Four Way Coincidence.” FACES IN THE CROWD – A card reverses in a small packet and three cards change in another small packet. This one is quite surprising. Cameron uses interesting patter. I did not like the force and the Open Elmsley Count. I found it easy to come up with alternatives to these. HALF-VERSION – Two cards are selected, noted and returned to the deck. The cardician waves his hand over the face down deck which causes it to turn face up. Well, not completely face up. Only about half the deck. He explains that the deck stopped turning face up at a very specific point. Removing all the face up cards, the spectator turns over the top card of the face down portion. It is the first selection. The cardician now shuffles the face up portion into the face down portion, creating a huge mess. He snaps his fingers and spreads the deck. The cards are all face up save one: the second selection. This trick is pretty slick. Cameron delivers a smooth routine. NOT SO FAST – A “Collectors” effect misfires. Then the trick comes to a swift satisfying conclusion. Good trick RESWINDLED AGAIN – The card pro offers to demonstrate a little cheating exposition using a bad hand of poker, four black spot cards, and a good hand of poker, four Kings. One by one, the Kings switch places with the “bad” cards. Then the Kings immediately turn back into the bad hand. But when the King packet is turned face up, they are seen to have transformed into the four Aces. Amazing Highly Recommended MOMENT'S NOTICE 5 EBOOK AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com ZOMBIELAND – The spectator picks three cards. They transform into other cards two times. Amazing effect – Cameron delivers an interesting storyline. SCAMMED ACROSS – A card jumps from one half of the deck to an interesting position in the other half. Clever, good structure – a very good trick HOF – WICH – A simple transposition effect (a version of the Hofsinzer Ace Problem). I like this trick, but I would not use the Reverse Faro INSTINCT -- Two cards are selected. One appears between the two black Kings. The Kings are placed in a card box and the selection is cut into the middle of the deck where it finds... the two Kings! The second selection is where the Kings were. I like this trick. I think it will play well to laymen. THE LEADER – A Triumph effect with half the deck. A novel premise for a Triumph effect. Good trick COLLECTED COLLECTORS -- The Collectors plot with a huge twist (I think the title would sound better if the words were reversed). This definitely doesn’t look like your typical Collectors trick. Very good trick with a strong finish Highly Recommended side note: I have devised a trick similar to “Hof-Wich.” If you are interested in seeing it, just contact me.

AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com ACE THANG – Four aces are lost into the deck and then they are quickly produced. Though the reveal of aces between the jokers look good, the jokers serve no purpose other than to get an ace to the card box. The trick is pretty good SLY CHEESE – A card is selected and lost in the deck. The red kings are place on top of the deck and the deck is cut (one complete cut). The black aces are in the performer's hand. When the deck is spread, the black kings are now sandwiched between the red kings. In the performer's hand is one card: the selection! Stunning effect BACK SPLASH – two selections transpose with two cards in a card box Solid effect EUPHORIA – double prediction effect with a surprising kicker ending good trick, it probably will produce good reactions SELECTED ASSEMBLY – The four aces teleport from table to deck and then they vanish. this trick contains some impressive effects, but there really is no logical flow FLUSH THE TRANSPO – The four Tens are placed on the table. The four aces are then removed. One Ten is exchange for one ace. When the ace packet is flipped over, it is seen to be the four Tens! When the former Ten packet is turned over, it is now a Royal Flush in Spades! If you are not good at culling, you probably will want to preset two cards before doing this trick. Cameron's impromptu method is adequate. This is a very good trick. Recommended MOMENT'S NOTICE 3 EBOOK
AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com SYMPATHY – While the queens are outside the deck, they follow the lead of the queen of spades. When they are cut into the deck, they locate two selections while still following the lead of the queen. Amazing WILDER – A highly visual two phase Wild Card routine. Very good trick INDIE – Three incorrect predictions turn into the three mates of a selection. If you are not good at culling, you may want to preset the four of a kind rather than use the method given. Good trick TOASTED – A clean and extremely direct double sandwich routine. Good trick HEAT – A small packet, four phased Oil and Water/vanishing/transformation routine with a very novel presentation. Good trick UPPERS – An elevator effect ending with a stunning transposition. The two basic effects in this routine work well together. Good trick Recommended MOMENT'S NOTICE 2 EBOOK
AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com INTER-CHANGELING – Three jacks are placed into three empty pockets. The last Jack is held by the spectator. A card is selected. We'll say it's the Eight of Hearts. The card is lost in the deck. The remaining jack is waved over the deck where upon it visually transforms into the selection! The other three jacks are removed from the cardician's pockets. They are now the mates of the Eight! Good trick HOF THE CASE – The spectator's favorite ace jumps from card case to deck and two selections appear in the card case. Good trick, but I think it would be better if it was more on track with the Hofsinzer Ace Problem plot. P' WAVE – The card expert removes five cards from the deck and places them face down on the table. “These cards,” he says, “represent a poker hand. A good poker hand. What I want you to do is use your intuition and tell me which card you think is the lowest card of the hand.” The spectator selects a card. The card is turned face up and seen to be the Four of Diamonds. The other four cards are turned face up. They are the four Aces! You have to be pretty smooth to pull this off. It comes down to a one in five chance. RE-TWIXT & BETWEEN – The two black Jacks are removed from the deck and placed aside. A card is selected, noted and placed back into the deck. The two Jacks are then cut face up into the deck. A number is chosen by a spectator. The deck is cut and when it is spread, a number of cards are seen trapped between the two reversed Jacks. It is the exact number that the spectator selected. The spectator then checks to see if her card is among the trapped cards. It is not. The deck is squared. The card wiz snaps his fingers and spreads the deck. The Jacks are now seen to have only one card between them: the selection! Outstanding – impressive and direct COLLISION - Two cards collide to form a selection. A super visual effect! If the audience buys the ending, you have a pretty cool effect. TWISTED LIMO SERVICE REVISITED - Kings twist, transpose and trap a selection! Impressive Recommended MOMENT'S NOTICE EBOOK
AUTHOR: CAMERON FRANCIS PRICE: $12 AVAILABLE AT cameronfrancismagic.com ELEVATION – Four phases of sandwich/elevator/twisting/transposition madness that will make you look like a sleight of hand ace. Outstanding...well structured trick, a stunning finish SPIN CYCLE – The suit of a selection is identified by a strange sequence involving the four aces. The aces (as an unit) are placed in the deck. The deck is cased and the spectator gives the box a spin. The cards are removed from the box and the deck is spread. The aces are seen face up in the middle with one face down card between them: the selection. Very good trick, I like the collectors ending too EMERGENCY – A card is selected and cut into the deck. Half the deck is turned face up and is shuffled into the face down half. A card at one end of the deck is shown not to be the selection. The card pro inserts that card in the middle of the deck for about half its length. The deck is spread. All the cards are face down. The card inserted into the middle changes into the selection. Good trick......This is nicely put together. The transformation of the selection is a nice added touch to the Triumph effect. SIMPLY AMAZING – The aces are removed from the deck. Four cards are placed face down (cards are shown before they are turned face down) on the spectator's hand. The aces are placed in different places in the deck. The deck is placed face up on top of the cards in the spectator's hand. The deck is spread. The aces are nowhere to be found. The four face down cards at the back of the deck are turned over. They are now the four Aces! Pretty good trick FLYING COLORS – The cardician removes four red cards and four black cards from the deck. The four red cards are placed to his left, the four black cards are placed to his right. He slowly switches the top card of each packet. When the packets are turned over, the four red cards are now on his right and the four black cards are now on his left! The experiment is then repeated, this time in the spectator's own hands! What a swindle. Good trick Highly Recommended CARD TRAIL ebook by Cameron Francis

IMPOSSIBLE – a nicely put together trick, fine presention, winner OUT OF POCKET – I simply don't buy the card to bill (paper money) transformation SAVING ACE - I like the variation of the pop-out move and the way the deck is shown to be a mix of face-up and face-down cards. clever trick PROVIDENCE - Reversals, changes, and a sandwich location are all included to mystify onlookers. an amazing routine ALIEN NATION - If you don't mind doing the set up, you probably will add this incredible routine to your repertoire. If you don't like the last reveal, you probably can come up with another method. SCREENSAVER – You need to be sharp on your 5 as 4 Elmsley Counts. There are 9 of them. This is a stunning routine. THERE WILL BE TWELVE – I like the way John uses the Howard Adams stack. DEFECTIVE – fine presentation, direct method, cool trick THIS MIGHT BE A PROBLEM – Wow...talk about walking off the beaten path without stumbling. John's routine is simply wonderful. five cards tricks price - $9 available at lybrary.com you can check the effect descriptions at Gelasimagic.weebly.com John provides a link to a video demo to every effect Fine Feathered Finks – I don't like two things about this routine. 1) A face-up card is selected and place on the table in a very round about way. 2) The effect of a card traveling from the deck to a packet is not convincing because the card is not shown. Yes we CAAN – solid trick , I also like Cameron's variation And Another Thing – I like this routine except for the first reveal. The first reveal exposes that the cards were controlled (or at least one card was). J. G. Monte – Two cards turning into one with the twirl change is pushing it. Estimation – If you don't mind the set up, you probably will like this trick. not for me I'll give this ebook a borderline recommendation A LAST LOOK AT LEECH book by Anthony Brahams This is a compilation of 12 Al Leech tricks that are not in his books. Price - $15 - $20 available at penguinmagic.com and others dealers also at lybrary.com as an ebook A HOT CARD TRICK – Any card selected from a blue deck changes to a red-backed card when the performer blows on it. A second card is selected. The red-backed card is breathed on. It changes to match the face of the second selection. clever idea...winner THE BASHFUL QUEEN – A black queen changes color, then it changes back to black. simple, good trick.....I like it THE SANDWICH – The four aces are distributed through half the deck. The other half is cut into two face-up packets. The packet with the aces is placed face down between the face-up packets. The deck is spreaded on the table. The four aces are the only cards seen reversed in the deck. impressive effect MATCH-A-CARD – A card is selected with no one knowing what it is. The performer says he will match the card with one of the same color value. The performer fails. Then one card is caused to change, to make the proper match. simple, good trick.....I like it WILD DEUCES – The four aces cut into the deck. The spectator then cuts the into two halves and the two black aces are produced, one on the bottom of each packet, after a spelling procedure. The spectator locates the two other deuces by stopping the performer while he shuffles the two packets. I like the effect, but I would change the method of location for the last two deuces. GET SET, STOP – I find this one hard to describe (in writing). It's a location trick that apparently uses random card values to locate a selection. Another trick is done to setup the trick. It's a pretty solid two-trick set. EASY DOES IT – A card is selected. The performer fails to find it. Another card is selected and returned to the deck. The performer runs through the deck and pulls out the first selection. Then the first selection is used in a spelling procedure to find the second selection. A pretty solid spelling effect SPELL AND COUNT – The spectator deals a small number of cards and notes the bottom card of the packet. He places the packet into the center of the deck. After a spelling procedure, the performer tells the spectator how many cards he dealt and then he finds the noted card. A pretty solid spelling effect A DOUBLE CHANGE – One at a time the four aces change to kings. Suddenly they change back to aces. impressive effect KINGS ON THE LOOSE – The two red kings change to black. One red king is found face-up in the deck. The other is blown to the bottom. For the finale, the two black kings are reproduced with a flourish. impressive effect CASE CARD – A card is selected and returned to the deck. About 12 cards are cut from the deck. This group is inserted halfway into the center of the deck. The cards remain up-jogged as the deck is placed into a card case. Eventually, all the up-jogged cards sink down (all at the same time) into the card case except for the selection. The important thing here is wonderful reveal described. I wonder why “Case Card” did not become popular like “A Hot Card Trick.” For many, this will probably be the highlight of the book. BOY MEETS GIRLS – The spectator locates matching suits of kings and queens two times pretty solid effect quality material, Highly Recommended CARD SHARK EDITION 1 ebook compiled by Kyle MacNeill
price - 0.99 available at Lybrary.com Dessert First! – Kyle MacNeill Two aces appear, they vanish, and a selection appears between them. I don't like the way the two changes are used in this trick. I think the way they were used could lead to exposure. According to the text, Kyle says he has had success with it , so maybe there is nothing to worry about. Super Quick ATFUS Hof! – Kyle MacNeill A streamlined take on the Hofzinser Ace Problem. A very good trick – easy to do and packs a punch Fight! - John Holt The correct selection is annouced by the performer and the selection escapes the card box. A solid, simple effect first appeared in John Holt's Some Things with Cards Joker Face – Kyle MacNeill Two cards are named (or selected). The jokers trap one selection and the other selection is found by dealing a random number of cards. The spectator is asked to hold four cards as two cards with the thumb and forefinger. I am not sure how well that will work. I think a significant number of people a will figure out what happened with the other selection. First appeared in Kyle's 2 Can Play That Game. (co-author - John Gelasi) Thanks, Meester – Cameron Francis Multiple transpositions and multiple transformations done with eight cards An amazing effect, but too many counts for me Originally appear in the Cameron's “Continental” column in The Budget magazine I recommend this based on the two tricks I like. |
